How dare we become so arrogant
calling ourselves innocent and clean
losing sight of who we are
ourselves worthy we have deemed

Crying to my God

Dead, Blind , and Deaf
Deceitful and corrupt
incapable of choosing
good over evil
so why me?

before the foundation
of this creation
the power of the spirit
and willing acceptance

Paying the penalty
taking the place
specified, chosen
securing unification
So why me?

This inward call
brought to salvation
unable to reject
no limitations
SO WHY ME?

All who are chosen
eternally saved
persevere by the power
persevere to the end
